Nina Camplin, Senior Corporate Fundraiser at Bury Hospice, commented:

“Munro’s are celebrating their 100th year in business which is absolutely fantastic. The way they chose to celebrate is to host many different events to fundraise for Bury Hospice over the anniversary year. We couldn’t be more grateful or pleased to have this superb and much needed support from an amazing local company.

Their ethos, their passion and their longevity is a testament to the calibre of this wonderful team! Today I had the privilege to meet and thank the 1st of 32 teams all playing at Huk’d through the day.

All to raise funds for Bury Hospice. We are struggling to keep going against rising costs and decreasing funds. With less than 18% direct funding, we really could not survive without the amazing generosity of our community and especially from great local businesses like Munros. Always good to meet Ian and Stephen, whose care for our cause is palpable. They are a shining example of real community spirit, and they always manage to put the fun into their fundraising🤓 Only an eighth of all business help charity, so their efforts shine a light on our predicament. We need everyone’s support and we thank the great team at Munros for leading by their continued example.”

Please support Bury Hospice – you can make a donation using our Just Giving page. Together, we can make a genuine difference.
