The next in our calendar of fund-raising events on behalf of Bury Hospice and to celebrate our 100th year in business is set for week commencing Monday 8th September for 4 days.
After the huge success of the Darts night, Charity Walk and Ladies Cricket, we are following up with a 100Km a day challenge – to cycle (on an exercise bike) or run/ walk (on a treadmill) in our offices.

Our staff will be taking part – but if any friends or colleagues of Munro Greenhalgh would like to help in achieving the distance – they will be most welcome!
Our 100 second challenge
Knowing how competitive some of our staff, clients, Insurer Partners and local businesses are we also have the 100 Second Challenge (as it it our 100th year!). For a small donation who can cycle the furthest distance in 100 seconds? The winner will obviously have the bragging rights plus a £100 gift voucher for your choice of either Owens Restaurant or The Vineyard.
Our online leader board (see here) will be available to track your progress – and if you need to come back for a 2nd or 3rd attempt!!
Celebrating 100 Years with Community Spirit
Our centenary year is not just about celebrating our success in insurance—it’s about supporting those who need it most. That’s why Munro-Greenhalgh is hosting a variety of fundraising events throughout the year. Bury Hospice plays a crucial role in our community, offering compassionate support to individuals and families facing life-limiting illnesses. By taking part, cheering from the side-lines, or simply donating, you’ll be contributing to a cause that truly makes a difference.
Donations to Bury Hospice can be made either physically to buckets/card at the office or to our Just Giving page – see here
