Our Ladies Prosecco Cricket competition was another great success – whilst having a laugh, giggle and sip the 8 amateur teams of varying abilities from local businesses, cricket clubs and friends helped us to raise another £720 for Bury Hospice whilst consuming 30 bottles of prosecco!

In twilight hours the final was competed between Fine Legs and Fizz n Wickets with the eventual winners being Fine legs.

As always a big thank you to the staff and volunteers at Tottington St Johns Cricket Club who helped host this event, keeping a fully stocked bar and providing food from their BBQ.

Celebrating 100 Years with Community Spirit

At Munro-Greenhalgh, we’re celebrating 100 years in business, and what better way to mark this milestone than by giving back to the community that has supported us for a century?

Our centenary year is not just about celebrating our success in insurance—it’s about supporting those who need it most. That’s why Munro-Greenhalgh is hosting a variety of fundraising events throughout the year – helping to promote our amazing local sporting clubs and facilities whilst raising funds for Bury Hospice. They play a crucial role in our community, offering compassionate support to individuals and families facing life-limiting illnesses. By taking part, cheering from the side-lines, or simply donating, you’ll be contributing to a cause that truly makes a difference.

As part of our anniversary celebrations, we are hosting various events – up next: Our Charity Walk on the 21st June. Everyone is welcome.
